On this week's Comedy-O-Rama Hour, entitled "Seedling Fever Hits Ranger Lorie," it is Memorial Day Weekend when the characters of Camp Waterlogg (voiced entirely by Joe Bevilacqua and Lorie Kellogg) visit Four Winds Farm to buy starter plants. Meanwhile, two locals (Played by June Foray and Nancy Cartwright) talk about a big garage sale just ending.

June Foray is best known as the voice of many animated characters (particularly Lucifer from Cinderella, Rocky the Flying Squirrel, Cindy Lou Who, Jokey Smurf, Witch Hazel, Granny, Natasha Fatale and Nell Fenwick). Four Winds Farm is a 24 acre diversified organic farm located in Gardiner, in southern Ulster County, of which 4 acres are used to grow vegetables, primarily heirloom and open pollinated varieties for better flavor and for seed saving. The remainder is used to raise lamb, beef and egg laying chickens, which supply us generously with natural fertilizer. Our farm-generated manure compost allows us to grow vegetables using a method that is very different from conventional farms. Actress Julie Newmar makes a guest appearance on this Saturday's edition of The Comedy-O-Rama Hour, Joe Bev's "wacky" weekly radio program, which airs ONLINE every Saturday at 1:00pm (EST) / 10:00am (PST) at: http://www.cultradioagogo.com

Here's a clip from last weeks show...

Listen to the
Comedy-O-Rama Hour
on Cult Radio-Go-Go!

SATURDAYS
1:00 pm EST   10:00 am PST

On the show, Julie Newmar helps Ellis the Boatkeeper (Played by Joe Bev) pick out flowers for his wedding to Elise (played by Lorie Kellogg).

"We love to work our celebrity guest stars into the plots of our show so that we are doing more than just an interview. It's more fun for everyone!" proclaims Joe Bev (Joe Bevilacqua), who writes, produces, directs and performs nearly all the characters' voices on the weekly show, along with his wife and creative partner Lorie Kellogg.

This week's hour also features three Pedro Pablo Sacristan stories: "Batbird," "Tubby the Potbellied Cat," and "The Flying Contest", and part two of the first new "Our Miss Brooks" story since 1959.

As an eleventh generation American and a Mayflower descendant, Julie Newmar has beauty, brains and a charming sense of humor. Born Julia Chalene Newmeyer in Los Angeles, her father, Donald, was an engineering professor, head of the Phys Ed. Department, and head football coach at LACC.

"Silk Stockings" was her first role on Broadway at 19. Then the very "Stupefyin’ Jones" in "Li’l Abner." She won a Tony for her first speaking role in the hit comedy "Marriage-Go-Round" (Claudette Colbert and Charles Boyer).  She was one of the brides in the classic MGM musical "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers."

On TV, Julie had many memorable song and dance routines (a Jonathan Winters Special, The Danny Kaye Show, Mike Douglas Show) but is best known for her comedic as well as supernatural roles. In 1966, urged by her brother at Harvard, she created the role of Catwoman in "Batman." Her sense of humor and physicality made her this show’s most popular villain.

From the ‘60s into the 21st century, Julie is still fascinating. "Beauty is her business" as well as her passion for art and design and gardening, which have led to a rose, day lily, and an orchid named in her honor. Her magnificent gardens are first choice for L.A.’s top charity events. "Why not? I live in Paradise."

A book on the oft asked questions "How do you look the way you do?" The answers are few when it comes to makeup and exercise. "It’s the inner life that’s all important". Check it out on JulieNewmar.com – her 2011 book, "The Conscious Catwoman Explains Life on Earth". She is currently writing short stories, magazine pieces, as well as a bi-monthly memoir on the beatitudes of yes, consummate bliss.
