Phillip Proctor says, "'Peter Bergman and the End of the World' is a piece I was inspired to write after losing my dear friend, collaborator and Firesign partner to leukemia in March.

"I chose to premiere the story on Comedy-O-Rama because of my admiration for Joe and Lorie's comic consistency over the years and because I know that their audience is the perfect place to perpetuate the memory of Peter's genius and stimulate an online interest in his legacy through Radio Free Oz, The Firesign Theatre and Proctor & Bergman.

"I know Peter would've loved it…
Thanks, J & L
~ Philip"

The Comedy-O-Rama Hour is the brainchild of husband and wife Joe Bevilacqua (Joe Bev) and Lorie Kellogg. After a successful four year run on Sirius XM Radio, the improvisational comedy radio theater hour moved to Cult Radio-A-Go-Go! online where its audience numbers have increased 10 fold in 10 weeks.

Last week's Comedy-O-Rama, Joe Bev welcomed back Bob Greenberg for part two of "Abbott & Costello Meet Ranger Joe" -- featuring Joe & Bob doing Bud & Lou's "Who's on First?", Joe & Lorie doing Burns & Allen's "Lamb-chop," Joe as Jimmy Durante and Laurel & Hardy, and Joe singing "Minnie the Moocher".

On May 5, comedian-actor Stuart Pankin ("Desperate Housewives") is Joe Bev's guest.
